I have researched some, im confused between some options. i also write it down since many will be looking to buy one in the upcoming prime sale. These are what i have observed from reviews, please correct me if I'm wrong.

Basic requirements: upgradeable ram, rtx 3050, good battery life.
Bonus: Bright , colour accurate screen.

Acer nitro 5 : Has a small battery, bad build
Hp victus : Good battery life , screen wobble , ryzen 3050 variants (100%srgb ,300nits under 78k)out of stock right now, Averagely built, large trackpad, extended warranty costs 5k
Ideapad gaming 3 : small battery, 2022 model with legion formfactor available in lenovo website with intel 12th gen, available in amazon from 23rd july
Tuf gaming a15 2021: large battery with very good run times,f15 i7 was available for 65k yesterday, 2022 f15 i5 12th gen available for 90k, very good port selection, has thunderbolt and type c charging.
Dell g15 5515: Bad display, small battery
hp pavilion gaming: didn't like the looks, small battery
Legion 5 : Good build , 300nits 165hz display , higher tdp gpu, can be had for 90k from lenovo website.2022 model expected next month.
I you dont want upgradeable ram , vivobook 14/15 pro (oled, 3050), ideapad 5 pro 16 (16inch qhd 350nits display, 3050) from lenovo website.

Should i get the
option 1) victus / tuf a15 2021
2) dell g15 ,can be had for 67k and upgrade the battery to 86whr(3060 model comes with it) both batteries have same dimensions, so is it possible? will it void the warranty?
3) Ideapad 5 ,even 5700h is cheaper and has space for a bigger battery.

These are just my thought processes, so please guide me .Any other suggestions are also welcome.Thank you

I was also searching a laptop for casual gaming and multimedia consumption, some office work. So settled for vivobook pro 15 with amd ryzen 7 5800h and 3050 gpu.
Just ordered yesterday. Lets see how it turns out.
As per my research in this budget it is really hard to get everything( good display, hiigher tgp gpu etc.) so have to make compromise on sumthing or the other.

If your only usage is gaming , make sure to check tgp of gpu, mux switch availability, displays you will find mostly like 60 % srgb only in this range.

For battery life, go AMD, avoid Intel.

For 3050 variants, Victus & Nitro are good choices for 70k. Victus has larger battery but Nitro 5 has 2x M.2 slots + a 2.5" slot.

If you can extend to 90k, Nitro 5 with R5 5600H + 3060 is under 90k is a solid choice. I think it is a 80-90W 3060, still better than 3050 or 3050Ti with more VRAM. Some games hit VRAM limit at 1080p with higher textures.

100% sRGB 7ms panels are rare to get, usually you get 70% sRGB 15ms 144/120Hz panels. With prime day sale coming up, there might be some discounts on both amazon & FK.

is mux switch that important?
Nitro 5 has 2x M.2 slots + a 2.5" slot.
i doubt i will use that.

i have already stretched my budget and nitro has a small battery and looks ugly, but if i can get the qhd version for 90k ill get it.

Fill the questionnaire & let us know your usage

For gaming performance, RTX 3060 powered laptops are as good as you can get for your budget. I have seen that laptop for 86k, so say on upcoming sale with Axis FK CC 5% CB, it might be close to ~82k.

Just check Jarrod Tech reviews for build, even HP Victus has screen wobble issue. Only Legion 5 would be well built & that costs a lot.

Poor display is a bummer, but maybe you can think of getting an ext. monitor.

Victus surely would have a better battery life with 70Wh battery, but Nitro 5 should still be decent for a gaming laptop. 3-4 hrs of real world usage is good for a gaming laptop (non performance intensive obviously). Still if you want Victus, 70-72k is the general rate for R5 + 3050 model or 74k for 3050Ti one. Never saw the 100% sRGB panel Victus for 78k.

Budget - 70k for 3050 , 80k if it has better build and screen, 90k for 3060
Usage - Casual browsing , learning from youtube ,pdf , movies ,casual gaming.

Prefer a larger screen as i will be watching YouTube, reading and coding a lot.

Would avoid msi and acer too to some extent unless its a very good deal.

Battery life is atmost priority as my initial days are gonna be spent on YouTube and unacademy

Im moving into a new phase of learning , so i dont exactly know what I'm gonna use. Only reason I'm going for gaming laptops is ultrabooks don't have ram upgradability otherwise would've chosen asus g14(small display) or ideapad 5 pro 16(no ram upgrade) and since price of 1650 and 3050 is so close with 3050 being way better, I'm looking at these 3050 options.

⚡26% Off - Hp Victus Latest Amd Ryzen 7-5800H Processor 16.1 Inches Fhd Gaming Laptop (16Gb Ram/ 512Gb Ssd/4Gb Rtx 3050 Graphics/ Flicker Free/144Hz Display/B&O/Backlit Kb/Windows 11 Home/Mso/2.48 Kg) 16-E0351Ax Rs. 76999 - Amazon

❌ MRP: 104091 ✅ Rs.: 76999

I saw it personally for 77k
Mux switch as per yt, 5-10 % average increase in graphics performance.
But in victus vs legion review, there wasn't much difference.

I have also seen youtube, on those channels only they were saying average 5-10% and even 30 percent in some games. When spending so much it is gud to have mux switch i think if buying a gaming machine. I think for your budget you should be looking for atleast 3060. As 4gb vram of 3050 is a little less for today’s titles.

First i was inclining towards hp, then i saw some reviews and users were talking about this screen bleeding issue. So i dropped hp. Also i wanted a good display, fell fo oled on asus vivobook pro. It is still in transit. Wait is getting difficult.

Hp has some list of laptops on ther website which are affected by screen bleeding, and as per them it is normal and not an issue. You should research this screen bleeding issue also.

F. Just now checked youtube and it does seem victus has screen bleed. My other options are dell g15 and tuf a15 only.

I bought the asus vivobook pro 15 oled a month back. Display is gorgeous but it suffers from colour fringing issues (white text on black background has weird red border on top and green border on bottom, kinda like the tiktok logo).
This review has it in details:

It appears to be a common issue as I bought another asus oled (K513 i3 model) for my dad which suffers from the same issue though it is less noticeable. Just a heads-up and hope you get a model without the issue!

Victus for 84k wit R7 5800H + 3050
This is the model I'm eyeing, it was on sale for 77k, not available in offline. But I'm skeptical about zest money since i wil be buying from amazon.

Deal of the day: Hp Victus Latest Amd Ryzen 7-5800H Processor 16.1 Inches Fhd Gaming Laptop (16Gb Ram/ 512Gb Ssd/4Gb Rtx 3050 Graphics/ Flicker Free/144Hz Display/B&O/Backlit Kb/Windows 11 Home/Mso/2.48 Kg) 16-E0351Ax https://amzn.eu/d/9jRr5ca

Hi guys, I have received my unit and have been using it for last 3-4 hrs.
First impressions, awesome.
Display is awesome. Pictures, videos just looks so good on this display.
Keyboard-: A good keyboard I can say.
Build quality:- to me build seems fine. Looks premium.
Speakers:- Average loudness but highs and mids are OK. lows, we cannot expect much from laptop speakers I guess.

I have not yet run any game so cannot comment on the gaming performance.

Also regarding Tiktok effect on white text on dark backgound, yes it is there. when looking closely. If looking at normal distance then it is not there. I will attach some pictures for reference.

Attaching pictures.
