Monitors Gaming monitor 24 or 27 or 3d.

My budget is 20k . I had a 2420 benq for 4ys . Now it's not working . Kindly suggest good gaming monitors to be used with ps3.

It does not have even basic HDMI-in .... and the budget is also around 20k... so anything without HDMI-in and in built speakers or with Headphone jack, it is waste... rest features r yet to be considered... :scared14:

Lool u seems to be noob here LG2360V is world's slimmest LED moniter looks G8 and it has DVI VGA AND an HDMI I m playing ME3 now on it it's better then VG236H ( 3D) also G8 Display )

I also owns P2370MS as well But u can't find new one GO for LED what i said already don't waste 10K more in display and if u really wanna buy G8 LED go for asus new IPS LED panel ur DELL's U 2312M or as well IF u can BUy GO FOr Asus VG27H ( 27'' Active 3D LED With hdmi ) PRICE : 42 K :D

My Last Suggestion : Buy samsung 32'' LED E5000 Full HD led from gravy u can get it as low as 27.5K Recently i got 32D5000 for pC and console gaming @ home :)
 
I was doing looking around and two models came to my int

1 benq xl2420. Activ 3d
2 aoc 2352phz passive 3d

Both are 3d benq is 120hz other one is 60 .

And my gaming is with ps3 and my old benq had response Time of 2ms gtg. So I don't want to go back on That.

I def want one with hdmi .

Is it worth going for these 3d monitors or is it better buying a 27 inch one with good response time and contrast .

The dell ips has poor response time even though the pic quality is superior . So that is any way out of the question .

90% of my gaming is FIFA 12 online so I don't want any lag in response .

Guys give ur comments.


Guys and let me know if 3d will work with ps3 on the above models . Aoc will work but can't find info about the other one
 
Don't go with passive 3D if u wanna 3D gaming Go for Active like benq and asus model :) GO FOR VG27H -42K If u can afford :)

ur suggested monitor does have those connectivity features i mentioned.... HDMI-In and Headphone Jack,

so now, by comparing other specs, with monitors suggested by OP

Asia & Pacific | Products - LCD Monitors - XL2420T
this one is "around" 20k budget... :( but has lots of features offered, one worth mentioning is "NVIDIA® 3D Vision™ 2 ready" :yahoo:

benq seems to be real good one...

Entry level 60Hz TN 27" come for 17-23k and up.
24" IPS (not eIPS) are all a bit over 20k or more.
24" 3D I doubt you will get one with 120Hz active within 20k, but I am not sure here.

You need to prioritize:
Do you really want a 27"?
Do you really want 3D?
Do you really want both?
Do you want IPS?

These questions will help decide which way to go.
 
I did some research and found out that benq xl2420t does not have a 3d emitter in built so it won't support 3d from ps3.

The ones which support are

The ones with hdmi 1.4 built in and with inbuilt 3d emitter

Viewsonic v3d245
Benq xl2420tx not t
Acer hn274
And one from Asus which is around 42k
A Samsung model around 60k

As I called all the distributors and could not get the benq tx nor the viewsonic one .

I bought the viewsonic vx2753mh as it was the one with least response time of 1ms and less than 1 frame input lag.

So skipped 3d for the time being .

The models which I have listed esp viewsonic and benq xt are cheaper than the other 2 but very very difficult to find . I think even if 1 found then prices would be like 25k +
