My laptop stolen yesterday night.

so planning to get a new one which packs some power.

not so worried about battery and build quality n all.

• What's your Budget?
  not a penny more than 40K​
• What will be your primary usage for the notebook be?
  Web surfing, Excel usage, Watching and encoding 1080P movies,Hardcore Gaming​
• What size and weight considerations do you have?
  15" or More .no 14"​
• Any brand that you prefer, or any brand that you detest?
  Dell, HP, Lenovo,Toshiba,Asus,Sony,Acer(less preffered)​
• Any other considerations?
  Build Quality is not important. It should be a power packed one.Not worried about battery life also.even 1 Hour will do​
• Least Specs?
  At least Intel 2nd Gen core i5 core i7
  
  At least 2GB DDR3 ((will be upgrading to 6GB anyway)
  
  At least 15" with 1366x768 min resolution(I know i wont get a full HD)
  
  At least 500 GB HDD (5200 rpm will do)
  
  Something equal to or better than ATI Radeon HD 5730 2GB

It's a tough spot, hardcore gaming on 40k is hard. Tough luck.

The laptop has a good midrange GT540M GPU. But the OP is expecting a very high end GPU which is hard to get in that budget!

The Asus K53 that dasgupta has recommended is pretty much the best gaming laptop one can get in that budget.

There was this dv4 model with HD6750M and i5 for ~42k (out of stock now) But a 14" chassis + high end GPU -> excessive heat.

Hi all...at last i decided to get a core i7+GT540M 2GB combo by extending my budget.

Will be taking in EMI basis.

Can anybody tell me whats the difference between these two lappys.

I tried comparing but could not find any difference other than bluetooth version.

Asus K Series K53SV-SX562D is having bluetooth 2.0 for Rs. 48360

Asus K Series K53SV-SX521D is having bluetooth 3.0 for Rs. 47320

is there any other differences other than this?
