PC Peripherals Gaming rig dilemma!!

My brother is planning to buy a gaming rig for 40K~50K .. though he can't decide which one he would be going for .. AMD or Intel .. It would be great if you guys suggest rigs for both AMD and Intel processors within both the budgets provided .. It would be of great help .. thanks in advance.:)
 
proccy. Intel Core i5 750 - 10.5k

M/B.Gigabyte P55 UD2 - 7k

Ram. Corsair 2GB DDR3 - 2.5k approx

HDD. Seagate 500GB 7200.12 - 2.5k

GPU. ATI Radeon HD5850 -17k

Optical Drive. Sony DVDRW - 1.2k

PSU. Corsair VX450 - 4k

Case. Coolermaster Elite334 -2.1k (not sure that 5850 will fit in..)

Monitor. Benq T2200HD - 8k

Mouse+Keyboard-Logitech Combo - 0.7k

Total 55.5k.

if you want something cheaper then get a 5770HD instead of 5850 you'll save around 6k.

so,Total will be - 49.5k

But IMO for Screen & G.Card -

1)Get a Benq G2412HD LCD for 11k.

2)Get a Radeon 5770HD for 11k approx.

Keep everything else same then Total will be 52.5k

Dude...HD5850 is for 17.5k

Core i5 + HD5850 + CorsairVX450W = not a good idea....at least VX550W come on!!!!

And u buying such a high end config with 2GB RAM only???

One question I would like to ask .. is the UPS enough to backup all the system?I think the case was a no go .. donno whether he assembled it yet.. anyone using coolermaster 334?does HD5850 fits in perfectly?any better available cabinets for 2K?he had a tight budget so went for it ..

I liked this mobo .. ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO .. will this be good?Is everything ok?PSU,UPS,GPU etc?Please tell I am left in a trance actually ..:S
 
Will the Phenom II X3 720BE be better for gaming?
btw is HD5850 available in kolkata?All the shops I have contacted till now said they don't have it ..:S
 
I'll try and find out if the HD5850 is available in Kolkata and post back. If not then you might have to ship it from Prime ABGB Mumbai. I get half of the things which aren't available from Kolkata from Prime for my computer. They have fast shipping (usually 1-2) days and are very reliable.

EDIT: I called a few stores I know but no luck, the 5850 isn't available here in Kolkata here I guess.
