@ALPHA17

Want to ask one thing (not able to understand)

7) No the AMD Llano cannot beat an Intel G620 + discrete graphics card setup. But if you will add a cheap graphic card like ~6670 it will be better to buy the Llano RIG and hybrid-CrossFire the APU + discrete card. Anything over the HD 7750 and the results will tip in favour of the Intel Sandy-Bridge setup.
So I want to ask (please do not consider the budget)
1) Is i3+7750 better or G620 + 7750 ?
2) I want to ask if i want to buy 7750 from this forum is it okay (SMC INT) ? because i guy the price is cheaper for 7750 and also 6770 (saves headache with shopkeer locally) ?
3) Shall i consider 6770 over 7750 ? is it good or > 7750 ? (i checked your replies regarding it so short answer will be good) (also if suppose 7750 is not available locally than ?)
Thank you

Here are your answers --

1) The HD 7750 + Core i3 2120 and HD 7750 + Pentium G620 will be very close performers, when you will place cards of the calibre of HD 6870 and higher you will notice a discernible difference in the performance as well as load on the CPU. For pure sake of discussion, budget not withstanding if you want to enjoy gaming go for a Core i3 + HD 6870 [minimum] / GTX 560Ti.

Also about your query of a CrossFire / SLi, it will be useless in your scenario as a single card solution [upto HD 7850] will max out the Core i3 and you will not note a great difference between this and dual HD 7870 setup. Also whilst setting up CrossFire OR SLi it is recommended that you take a GPU that is capable of playing titles on their own, this means the HD 7750 CrossFire setup will be rather pointless as the card in itself is more oriented towards a HTPC setup and less of a gaming setup [until you can live with low detail + okay resolution].

2) Yes it is perfectly fine if you want to purchase a card from SMC International but keep in mind you will have to pay shipping and you are in Bombay, I am sure you can make a trip to Lamington Rd. prices might be at par if not cheaper.

3) The HD 6770 => HD 7750 but it is at the end of its product life cycle so most chances new driver updates will not give it a great boost in performance, same is not true for the latter and it will get incremental boosts till HD 8*** series supersedes this line-up. So I bet my money on a HD 7750 [over-clock it a little].

Also, what I meant with Llano was that -- if you will not add a discrete GPU OR will add a low end card like the HD 6670 then the Llano + Hybrid CrossFire will be a better option.

But if you are going to add a graphics card more powerful than the HD 7750 / HD 7770 GHz edition, the Core i3 / Pentium G620 will flatten the Llano.

Hope this answers your queries. Cheerio!!

The DH67BL (Doesn't consist any b2-b3 tag) doesn't have a USB 3 Header on the mobo so no use of the Front port...NZXT Source Elite 210
Will update few things after wards

@altainta congratulations on your new RIG, may it serve you well for the in the coming years.

Just a few queries --
1) Why did you buy 2GB x3 memory modules, you should have bought 4 and be done with it.
2) The NZXT Gamma would have been a better cabinet, how high was its pricing vis-á-vis the Source Elite 210?

Rest components are all good and thanks for the price updates [these are with taxes, right].

Answer
1) was planing to get 2x2 corsair or gskill but i 2x2 patriot was good in price range. I thought may be increase a little bit so i added one more stick.. Is it bad to use 6gb ram (2x3 ?)
2) Gamma was cheap 2200. I know it was the best option but it was not my machine. I had the client with me and he selected to go with Elite White. Whatever i liked the cabinet. Though i hate the fact that USB 3 is not usable after purchase (no header on mobo)

More component price

Yes all the RAM modules will be running in single-channel mode instead of dual-channel because two-sticks are paired [dual-channel] and one is single; hence the memory controller goes down to the least-common-factor mode and the memory work on a single-channel status.

Some good articles explaining the workings of a dual-channel set-up --> Multi-channel memory architecture - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia / Everything You Need to Know About the Dual-, Triple-, and Quad-Channel Memory Architectures | Hardware Secrets.

The Gamma would have been a better buy but, its unorthodox design doesn't go down well with a lot of people so I understand. And yes the cheaper motherboards supporting USB 3.0 do not have the front adapter connectors [so the USB 3.0 ports upfront are like pariahs]

That is all. Cheerio!!
