Gaming rig under Rs 40k-

Disciple
hello people,
i have decided to build a medium gaming rig ,instead of buying one, in under Rs 40k . Primary use being watching HD movies, playing games and internet browsing.

here's the configuration i am thinking of(subject to change):

CPU - AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition Processor (HDT90ZFBGRBOX)
Motherboard - Asus Crosshair IV Formula AMD Phenom II X6
RAM - Transcend 1GB DDR2 800 Desktop Memory Ram
HDD - Seagate 500GB SATA Desktop Hard Drive (ST3500418AS)
Monitor - Acer H163 15.6inch LCD Monitor
Graphic card - Power Color Radeon HD5570 2GB GDDR3 ATI PCI E Graphic Card
Cabinet - Nzxt Phantom Cabinet (Black)
Drive - Samsung 22X DVD RW Sata Black
PSU - FSP 500W PowerSupply (SAGA II 500)

this is costing me around rs 42k and with some discounts maybe Rs40k-Rs41k
i am really interested in AMD as it is cheaper and gives the bang for the buck.
I am a complete n00b in hardware issues and please pour in your suggestions.
also , although this may sound stupid, what does graphic card compatability depend upon like the motherboard or processor?
also where in lamington can i get these stuff at cheaper rates?
thanks, in advance .:hap5:

RAM :- Transcend 1GB DDR2 800 Desktop Memory Ram

WTF!!!! 1 GB DDR2 YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME !!!

get Gskill 2x2 GB 1333 MHz minimum

Graphic card - Power Color Radeon HD5570 2GB GDDR3 ATI PCI E Graphic Card'

WHAT ! why buy such an expensive mobo ! shift your budget here and get a 6850/6870

Monitor - Acer H163 15.6inch LCD Monitor

Seriously ? why so less ?

Ahhhh,.,, ill have to recommend you a whole new PC i guess

lemme get the specs

NZXT PHANTOM(what you wanted) is 8500 so i suggest against it

Huh?

when did that release?

Edit

Oh ok, found it at TechPowerUp

What AMD has done here is mix up the Athlon II quad Propus core with Phenom II brand. After introduction of Athlon II X4 645, quad core Athlon II models clocking above 3.0 GHz were starting to catch up to slower Phenom II models, so AMD decided to upgrade the low cost Propus core to Phenom II brand. In other words, what we have here is Athlon II X4 "650" renamed to Phenom II X4 800 series. In terms of specifications, it is identical to every other Athlon II X4 SKU, and the one thing that differed Athlon II from Phenom II series, L3 cache is no more.

yeah found it :)

would've been super if it included the l3 at that price

But what the hell its still unbeatable at that price

Nice recommendation DA

well the 2gb powercolour one costs less than the 6850/6870 :)

Theitdepot - Power Color Radeon HD5570 2GB GDDR3 ATI PCI E Graphic Cards (AX5570-2GBK3-H)

and yeah about the ram the budget is tight and the price was exceeding, ithanks for replying and yeah waiting for your specs :D
SERIOUSLY

Bro in gfx card the ram is just a small part of performance 6850 will kill 5570 2GB BADLY

6850 has a more powerful processor hence it performs way way way better

They are not even in the same league !

Perfect config with current prices :D !

Except you could go for phenom II 955 by adding 2k as it has some of the best performance by any CPU

Else I suggest you go with this config without thinking

And yes you have made it clear that you know less ( sorry couldn't help it after the 5570 vs 6850 comparison and 1 GB ram ) :p

AMD Radeon HD 6870 Gets Another Price Drop

Just drop the idea of waiting... i think the price of HD6870 wont come down in india...

and also which one should i go for sapphire, xfx etc also will it be compatible with DarkAngels specs??

Buy Sapphire HD6850 which TheITWares is selling for Rs.9850... XFX has bad A.S.S in india... So a strict no no from my side... ;)
