So, here the deal. My AC brand Hair is has compressor in warranty, it went kaput, they are bringing in the new compressor, and they are telling me that since we need to change compressor, the gas would be leaked and we will need to refill it, and I will have to pay around ~2000INR for it!
Now this is clear cause and effect, only because their shitty compressor went kaput under warranty, I have to pay Gas refilling charges to get it up again? That seems completely un-ethical. I contacted their customer support and they are also saying the same thing, that I need to pay for Gas refelling.
Now, he is coming to my home in say 1 hour or so. What should be my play here? Should I give him the amount and then file a consumer case or I let him do everything and then refuse to pay for gas refelling?
