EPIC GAMES VEEP Mark Rein said the game, Gears of War will come to the PC platform soon*. In fact, the game was developed on a the personal computer so that is the next logical step.

Mark pointed out that Epic is a small company cannot therefore work on a multitude of projects. it is a second-generation company that is developing content using the potential of the targeted platform to the fullest.

Epic is planning and working on the conversion, but there are couple of buts before we can say what will happen and in what timeframe. The game is probably done and needs tweaking and serious QA testing, which will come into order once that Unreal Tournament III hits the stores. When, where and what - will be disclosed later. µ

if eventually means a year after ut3 and almost 2 years after the x360 version, it will be too late. thats what i think anyway...
 
this is y xbx 360 looses its charm... no use getting it when we can play its best games on the PC ... when they release tht is...

if the 360 wants to win it must keep all its games exclusive to itself .....

but no ones complaining :P

How so? In January, Gears of War hit the 3 million units sold mark which means lots of people already own it for the x360 and people will continue to do so. Plus, they will probably mess up the PC port anyway. Think RE4.
