genuine dell laptops at lamington raod

Have anyone purchased a dell laptop from lamington from lamington road?
Are they genuine?
Somebody told me that they dont offer you a dell original warranty.
Is it true?
Please let me know if its true.
Its urgent.
 
Be careful while buying Dell laptops in lamington road. Some internal parts, battery, charger etc... are duplicate in most shops. Most shops also offer very low prices to lure customers to buy this stuff. Most laptops are imported, so no warranty at all. If you are buying, buy from a genuine shop such as Gigahertz, Yoku, or Zoom computers. They are all in the same building in Lamington Road (the first 2 are on 1st floor, last is on ground floor), near Police station. Zoom is a bit expensive, the other 2 are okay.
By the way, if you are buying a Dell only, you can order online in the Dell store, there will not be much price difference (there is a chance that it may even be more expensive in the shops). If you think of going for some other company, you will get best rates at Lami.

Same applies for other brands. Those 3 shops are the safest. Most other shops sell non-genuine or tampered ones. Still suggest you to order online if you go for a Dell, and as MAGNeT said, i have also seen a Dell exclusive store somewhere near prime.

Yup it is but those guys there are strict idiots. Me and a friend went to inquire about certain model and they suggested finally to walk in croma at bandra. We literally fainted......

Its better to do your homework and then visit any shops rather than getting confused by them.

Oh i never went in.But i thought they might be knowledgeable.If thats the case than just for experincing their models make a visit and buy online.
