Vampire Survivors is Free on Android. It's also available on Steam, Epic Games and other stores.

I know the game was highly acclaimed and received multiple Game of the Year nominations. But I was sceptical of it as another "Hard" pixel art game, that might not be for me. All the videos of it online looked like it was a difficult game that was hard to manage type.

I tried it one day because it was free and I was waiting for something in a room, downloaded it on my mobile. I tried it, and to my surprise, I was hooked on it in 10 min. From that moment whenever I had time I went back to it. To describe the game, there's hardly anything to do you just move your character around and the character auto-shoots the weapons that's all. But you start building your own strategy of what weapons to use, how to navigate the enemies to collect the loot dropped, and what's the best upgrade path all this information is not dumped on you. Hell, even if you don't care about it you will still have fun.

You have to play the game for 30 min to see the end screen, it's not that hard I was able to do it in like 2-3 hrs of playing. But that's not where it ends if you want to unlock more character and upgrade your powers. If you are someone who quit gaming or finds games boring Vampire Survivors offers something very unique, give it a try you might find that lost charm in gaming.

I've heard extremely good things about it. Its looks are apparently extremely deceiving. People describe it as "crack in video game form", it's THAT addictive. I'm picking it up on Steam. It's just 249. Thanks for the short review!

Oh yeah I played it when it went for free on Epic games.
Enjoyed the game for a good 10 hours. Wasn't totally addicted tho lol but I do still boot it up from time to time. The endgame stuff gets crazy though, I've only skimmed the surface as well too, there's still so much left to do.
