Getting a guitar

Hi!

I've always wanted to learn playing a musical instrument and figured now might be the right time to get started.

So I'm planning to get a guitar and start learning online.

I figure since I'm just getting started, getting a basic acoustic one should suffice. I'm planning to get one from around 3k range from here:

I just wanted to confirm it with someone who's experienced if these ones will do the job?

And is there any significant difference between the ones listed at 2.4k on the site and the ones at 3k? Or are there any good reasons to extend the budget and go to the 3.5-4k range?

Also, is there anything else that I should buy in advance that I'll probably need? Like extra picks or something?

Picks are cheap enough , don't worry about those. Get the guitar locally , its almost always cheaper and you can inspect it before buying it. If you are serious about it , don't cheap out on the instrument. Its not something you will change often.
