^ If you can afford the D2Ks , nothing like it . One of my first high-end cans (if you may consider them so ) and it was worth every single penny back then. If you are getting it for a good price (15-16k or lower ) get them .Anything above that is slightly expensive for it and there might be better options available withing the same or slightly high price range.

Completely agree with Fah33m here, D2K are my first audiophile cans and I can tell you one thing about them that their bass is monstrous and its high in both quantity and quality. I mean its not overpowering on the overall sound signature but its really tight and punchy. The only thing I am noticing lately is that the highs are little bit shrill sometimes but with eq you can adjust it. They are versatile headphones. Worth of every penny. I auditioned HD558 before buying D2K and they are really good cans. I almost went for them but the only thing about them which I felt was that they sounded a little dark to me. Except Heavy metal and classic rock they were amazing. I think in India you can get them 8.5-9K.

90% convinced for d2k ( lavi...lolzz ) but not sure that it could pump good bass ....

don't worry about bass, d2k is all about bass, quantity and quality both, but think for trable and high because for you it may me little harsh as you told me that you don't like sharp trable

now you can see Reactive impression also

yep very Sharpe trable i can't bear, it can't listen to very harsh headphones.

a headphone with could thump and is bright but not harsh in same price range?? cause d2k from what i'm reading r not thump kind of headphone n everyone points their harshness at some stage

Well, in my opinion d2k have enough bass and you can feel the thump absolutely. I didn't say that highs are that much piercing. It's just that while playing bands like Green Day, the highs can be a bit shrill (that too on default equaliser settings) but certainly not unbearable. By playing with the equaliser you can easily tune them. After that, sound is absolutely amazing. I think you should audition them because I had kinda same opinion because of mixed reviews about them before buying.
