Graphic Cards gfx warranty

Guys.. i just bought this arctic silver 5 compound and took out my gfz card to apply on it.. now when i put it back on i forgot to plug the fan wire(fan on the gfxcard).. i didnt realize until my comp got reseted and didnt show any gfx..

now since i have ip35 e mobo.. i dont have onboard gfx so i put another gfx card on it.. and it worked ..

So it means that the card burnt out.. so i wanna know does Nvidia gives warranty on burnt cards. I bought it on 31st december'07 from BIG BYTE Co. nehru place. Its woth bill and everything.. So its kinda like just 25 days of the card..

The card is BIG 7300GT 256MB DDR2

All depends on your luck and the way u speak with the Distributors and ignorance of service personnel..
Burnt cards cant be qualified for warranty.

what if i just short circuit the fan, then it would be counted that the fan went bad hence it was burnt??

U can try to convince them that it was FAN that went bad, by itself, though they can find out, if u had medled with the card

GFX architecture is very complex and i dont think anyone in India can repair such stuff. Even the companies will only replace burnt cards rather than repair

best of luk nothin else any of us can say. actually speaking its not covered by warranty but depends on how thoroughly they check it
