Apparently they are going to make Skulltrail X58 motherboards. I don't know how they are going to fit 2 CPU sockets (LGA1366 is a lot larger than LGA775 too), 6 RAM, 4 PCI-e amongst those huge heatsinks in an ATX form factor. Maybe it's time to move to WTX:P

I got a boner of just looking at those images, does that sound abnormal to you guys? Time to lose my psychiatristvisitginity I guess.

The thing is actually cramped up quite a bit. You get no pci slots free if you decide to go for dual card setup as both the slots are taken away because of the card and its heatsinks.

Plus, is that big thing what I think it is? Is it a chipset cooler( Southbridge?)

All those heatpipes will make it heavy. Impressively large, but not attractive. GB needs to take a look at ASUS' designs.

Vandal, good point... a PITA while benching man... really hard to insulate the cpu socket area :p

But from what I heard/experienced those pipes are doing neat job on their VGAs so why not!! Just that some sort if closer contact will be preferred so that one can push not so friendly volts and still concentrate on benching.

BTW, Mr. NoName01... you know you better link to the source. XS is da place and we all know it ;)
