I'm looking forward to buy a X58 chipset.
I wanted to know which motherboard is better Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD7 or Asus P6X58D Premium LGA 1366....
If there are any other changes I should make please SUGGEST

Thank You.

^^^ if you consider after sales service of asus, its offered by RASHI which has developed a very bad reputation these days.. so i would suggest you to go for gigabyte one as it is offered by accell frontline which is way more better than RASHI!!!

Have you already bought the rest of the components? What is the use for this system? Point of getting an expensive board? What happened to the previous motherboard?

No, I haven't bought those components...........
I'll use this system for GAMING, watching HD movies and downloading stuff from the net
I'm buying such an expensive board because 'I am futureproof'
I dont think for the next 2 or 3 years I will change any components if I buy one now........that is why I need the latest technology.......
My previous motherboard was Pentium 4...it doesn't even support Serial ATA

^ Why don't you use a Template & ask some GURU's here to set up a Config for you by mentioning your Budget & Needs...

Recently i saw a thread where a guyz Gigabyte motherboard was Declared as warranty void coz it was a bit bend..

so, i can't say anything about the after sales support..

But choosing from the above two i'll say GIGABYTE..

Your choice- make one. Either you can act like a stubborn little brat, spend all that money for no reason like an idiot (we have few samples over here and most of them regretted) and pacify yourself using the word "futureproof" or you wise up, edit your first comments and use the damn template for your own good to prevent any misunderstanding, save money and still get a system that will entertain you for for 3 years average. If you are not so keen on getting a proper advice, what's the point in even asking advices from a proper tech community. If you want, we have TDF's highly decorated bottleneck gang who will pacify and justify to spend that money on the board. No pun intended, but that's what they usually do.

By your first comments, its pretty obvious you are not in sync with how current technology works. If you not, we can help you. If you don't want, your money, your life and your wish. Again, wise up, use the damn template. For you needs, even an i5+ UD2 is more than enough. You still end up saving lot of money which can be used to buy something else- or just save it. As it is pretty odd to see people who want to see movies and play games, but ending up getting crappy speakers.

if that is the case please paste some links from where I can find some configurations under 70k

Assuming you won't overclock (even if you want to, its still good enough to give decent moderate overclocks), you're better off with this config(taken from link above with minor modifications):

Processor: Intel Core i-5 750

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-P55M-UD2

RAM: OCZ Gold 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3 1600MHz via KMD or you can grab a Gskill F3-12800CL7D-4GBRM for 7.4k locally or from prime abgb.

GPU: Sapphire 5770 1GB GDDR5(DX11)

HDD: Seagate 1TB SATAII 7200.12 series

Cabinet: CoolerMaster 590

SMPS: Corsair vx450. *If* you plan to upgrade your graphic card in the future which might need more power, you can pick up vx550.

Optical Drive: L.G. GH22NS30 SATA/Samsung SH-S22F SATA

Speakers: Altec lansing vs4121

Monitor: Benq 24" G2412HD

Keyboard: Logitech Multimedia/samsung pleomax (assuming its still available).

Mouse: Logitech MX518

Mouse Pad: SteelSeries QcK Mini

Comes under 70k, depending on the prices on your area. Contact your dealer and get a quote from them.

u need to buy the whole rig in 70K rt?
if that is the case u'll never be able to get the X58A UD7 or P6X58D Premium.
these mobos alone wud cost upwards of 20k.
also using dual ch ram on LGA1366 makes no sense when it supports triple ch.

The config suggested by The Sorcerer is gud.U can go with it, else if u want a better card like 5850 the u can get a PII X4 955BE and a 785G mobo (combo sud be bout 12-14k at max afaik).
