Gingerbread Keyboard for Rooted Froyo Phones

^ Using it since about a week or so.. I still don't think, this is the stable version. It has lots of cons.. The smiley/enter is not working for me. But if you compare it with Stock Froyo, Eclair keyboard or swype.. It is definitely better.
 
Darn !! Doesn't work on my rooted G1 running Cyanogenmod 6.0.1 DS :( Verification error when trying to install the package in the recovery - Tried both Clockwork Recovery and Amon RA 1.7. Same thing.

Download Amon Ra 2.0 and turn off verification check :P

I have amon ra 1.701 with psfreedom. didnt give me any verification errrors.
 
Doesn't work :( Tried toggling verification and it gives another error on the file. Just started using Swype and since you guys are rating this above that, wanted to give it a shot :P

Let me check for other workarounds

Galaxy S users get the signed apk in the Galaxy S forums on XDA, works fine with no root
