After offering mid range smartphones to Indian buyers, Gionee has now launched a new budget Android smartphone in India dubbed P2S with a price tag of ₹6,499.
Gionee P2S, a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) smartphone is up for grab on the company India website. Talking of the features of the Gionee's new smartphone, it sports 4-inch WVGA display with 480×800 pixels resolution and is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core Cortex A7 processor and an ARM Mali 400 MP GPU paired with 512MB of RAM. It houses 5.0-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 0.3-megapixel VGA front-facing camera.
The handset runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box and packs 4GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD. It supports standard connectivity features like Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPS Bluetooth and 3G and packs a battery of 1600 mAh, which according to the company will give upto 12.5 hours of talk time on 2G, up to 9 hours on 3G and a stand by mode of 346 hours.
