Giveaway Cleartrip coupons

these are cleartrip coupons which are lying unused with me
each one is valid on a single oneway trip
100% basefare off
if anyone is interested please use them and kindly post here after using it so that others know that the coupons have been used

Nice initiative! But the 15day+ advance booking clause, and on low cost flights makes this a medium deal...im expecting some codes as well, will share.
 
The international flight offer is valid till 20th october. I already had a booking using makemytrip but have now booked additional ticket on cleartrip yesterday and am hoping to get coupon soon so i can buy another ticket fast and then finally cancel my make my trip ticket. If all goes well, i will end up saving about 6.5k on total ticket expenses of 31k (this is after cancellation charges from makemytrip and airlines)

Its like i have played a gamble and say i encounter issues with cleartrip coupon then i stand to loose around 750 rupees (500 cleartrip cancellation and 150 airline cancellation charges).

Lets see how it goes.

So finally i received my coupon and this is how things went (wanted to book 2 return tickets)

1. I booked a Mumbai-BKK return ticket in Indian airlines on cleartrip for 14964 Rupees

2. I waited for the coupon to come and when it came today i booked one more ticket on same route for same date/time for 14964-8225=6739 Rupees :hap2:

Now i had already booked the same tickets on makemytrip about 20 days back so cancelled that rightaway and i was charged total 2600 rupees for cancellation :( which means that my total savings came to

8225-2600=5625 Rupees which is guess is good considering total ticket costs was 30k INR :)

However small be the benefits, such things derived by smart shopping gives added pleasure.

IS this the "buy 1 get 1 free for ICICI customers" offer?

Would appreciate if someone could share a coupon for international flights on any of the sites??
 
^yes it is the cleartrip icici bank 1 on 1 free (only base fare, upto 5k for one way ticket or 10k for 2 way ticket) offer. Do all transactions using ICICI bank credit/debit card or net banking. This is very important.

But I didn't understand why you bought the Makemytrip tickets...

^That is because i am currently planning an overseas trip and as a part of this i had booked my tickets some 20 days back when i had no such offer. Now since i had this option i decided to cancel my old tickets and book the same again but this time through cleartrip to take advantage of this offer.

So a Gatwick return trip(30K base fare, total is 37K) will come to 27K after using cleartrip icici voucher???

In my case the base fare was 8000 and tax was 7000 and hence one ticket costs 15k. So total if someone buys two tickets, it will cost 30k. So now with this offer, i saved that 8k on second ticket and minus this with 2.6k that i lost because of my earlier booking, i ended up saving around 5.4k
 
After the giveaways here and on the vodafone ebay coupons thread, i'd like to request anyone using the Cleartrip ICICI offer to share their coupons with me in case they are not using them. Much thanks!
