PC Peripherals Glow keyboard stickers?

Hi

my room is mostly dark and although i can type pretty well without looking at the keyboard, i figured a glowing keyboard would be helpful. since i cant afford a backlit keyboard right now, would want to know whether something like this is available locally in mumbai

Personally, I would avoid the stickers.

Check this out, for Rs. 860. No idea about quality though!

I was expecting something stupid with those stickers before clicking the link, but those actually look good... well at least in the product shots, not sure how well that works in real life though.

On that Sunbeam keyboard though, it's really not that good. The problem it lights up the whole keyboard, but not the letters. And darker the room and environment more brighter the whole keyboard is going to appear and that is going to actually end up being distracting than helpful.

@iGo: exactly. the sunbeam keyboard might project a blue beam on to my ceiling by the looks of it.

+1 for the glowy florescent sticker

-100 for the sunbeam kb. In dark your eyes get strained by the blue glow and it literally irritates you forcing you to switch on the room lights. Its just for those noobs who wanna show off some cheap bling bling thing.

It's good for people having worn out keys but for others it's not.

You'll have to turn your lights on after every 2-3 minutes. Stickers have to be a perfect fit on the keys else they'll easily come out. Logitech keyboards keys are curved, are you really willing to spoil it?

^ as i see its florescent. it will just reflect the light of the monitor you are using.

like the car backlight, or the stop signs.

How good it is remains to be seen.

Also the ebay offer is tempting ...but i doubt which on is of better quality.

And bout inporting it via ICC ...why do you wnat to use ICC ? it has free international shipping ..and as its cheap and small , you wont be charged customs.
