Goa, trip advice needed

So, 23rd this mnth am visiting goa family trip. Want to know something..

1. Which area is best to stay in goa where i can find hotels easily with a great locality/market or beaches.

2. The top ten(or more or less) must visit places on goa.

3. The best way to travel in city.

Any other useful information
 
if you wanna enjoy the country side, green fields, silent free of noise environment, and comparatively cheaper holiday resorts, you are best off in south goa.. if you wanna travel in city area, marketplace, and happening beaches in goa, then north goa is the way to go. but the quality of resorts will be much inferior, and much more expensive.. except if you are looking for five star hotels..

travelling in the city, you can very easily travel using the public transport buses provided if you preinquire about the bus routes to the places you wanna go. otherwise, the most fun way is to hire a two wheeler or jeep. ..
