Hey Guys

I am planning a trip along with few friends

I require an affordable Accommodation.

I most probably paln to stay somewhere near baga beach.

I would appreciate if you guys could guide me to some good and cheap hotel or accommodation or flat
<

Anything affordable.

Also I would like pointers regarding food, places to visit, hangout etc from the goan buddies
<

Plan to visit in first week of Feb
<

In my experience, you will get more affordable places in panjim than north goa. Agreed, its not the best place for a tourist but you can always hire a bike and reach baga within 30 minutes. Assuming you are young, I'd think this is not really difficult for you or your friends.

I went to Goa for Christmas 2011.Personally,I didn't liked Baga,Calangute due to heavy commercialization in recent years.

I stayed at Evershine Guest House, about 300mts aways from Anjuna Beach. The beach was best beach in Goa after Vagator Beach in terms of Cleanliness.

Approx tariff is about Rs400/day during Feb-Sep.

There are accommodation facilities near Baga which charge you ~ 700 per day... So if 3 ppl are staying together it comes out 233 per person ...

Must visit beaches are Arambol, Vagator, Anjuna for abvious reasons
<
... Baga and Calangute are good for water sports ...

Do hit the weekend party at Curlies, Anjuna...

Also good info on beaches , thanks will visit them
<

Also most important people , please provide details such as address, contact person, so that I can talk to them directly and book a place. It will help me a lot

Thanks

I done remember the name, but its next to Britto's ... They give one room with attached bathroom... the lady will ask you more (800-1000), you have to bargain a bit ... Sry dont have any contact number...

Planning the same (Most probably on 1st Feb). Last year we stayed in one hotel (don't remember the name
<
) near Calangute beach. We got a house with 2 rooms and bathroom for like Rs. 1300.

You will get afforadable rooms in Panaji.

Btw, any good restaurant for Sea Foods, Non Veg near Anjuna Beach and Calangute beach? We didn't got good food last year
<

guyz, I may finalise some place today, so a final bump for staying options
<

also suggestions regarding places to have fun , could come in

While on the way to Goa, try Hotel Gomantak in Sawantwadi ... Its small hotel but sea food is great and cheap
<
...

Dont go to the beach-shacks especially on the Baga/Calangute; Food is mediocre and expensive ... Search for the small shacks on the roadside, most of them offer good quality seafood ...

guys, i'm also going to goa this feb. we are a bunch of 5-6 young guys and are looking for PARTYY..!!

so, i would really appreciate some info about booze (which, where), good beaches/places to hangout apart from anjuna, and if possible, can someone with experience tell us about where can we get the g**ls(paid).. we'd surely like to visit goa's *ahem* area..

From 25th Jan elections have started in Goa. Everything shuts down by 11 pm (even restaurants & shacks) and its gonna last till 25 feb.

yeah, seriously..
<

but, still we'd be going there as one of my friend announced "after 11, we'll booze out at the hotel"
<

PS: any info on the query posted above..?

Trust me, there aint any fun of being in Goa if u cant step out after getting high at night ... You should be 80% out and then hit the beaches and parties
<
... But of course keep 1 non-drinker guy with you to do the driving if your going by car ...

I spent whole week in December at the condolim with friends and it was awesome experience but nov-january is best time to enjoy Goa so i think IMO make plans for next winter/christmas and arrange bikes to explore Goa's beauty !!

Hope this images don't makes you uncomfortable

^^ lol

I visited goa in Feb, and it was awesome

Sea Food is in abundance, but ya somewhat costlier - 250/- for a dish is common

I stayed near Baga, n bikes were hired.

Water sports are fun too!!

Will go again ..... n yup Dec- feb is best to visit goa.
