going broadband!

hey guys im in a kind of fix right now...

choosing a broadband connection, going up from my airtel gprs ...excited yet confused at the same time.
im in amritsar the two broadband options i have are bsnl and hfcl connect
the plans im looking at are :

connect:top up 425 ul 11pm-9am , 800mb, 128-512kbps
HFCL ConnectBroadband :: Products & Services :: Home Users

and bsnl: 500 ul 2-8am , 2.5gb, 256kbps - 2mbps

i was considering bsnl till now but problems with their service and lines being down for long periods is keeping me away?
i heard bsnl is getting out some new plans by this years end...any idea?

connect: the service is good but the speed is not up2 the mark.

any1 with experience with the isp?? lemme know what u guys think.

Hmm...

Let me share my experience here... ofcouse over with BSNL. I have been with them since the dawn of BSNL broadband. If possible get in touch with someone in the BSNL.. not in billing but those engineers, if you remain in good relation with them, you will never face any issue. Speed is no doubt good and consistent.
