Also,what does this mean?

MCU charges per Pulse @ Rs. 1/- shall be applicable. The calls shall be charged
as per pulse rate of BSNl Bfone General Plan. Security Deposit and Installation

^^It's capped to 64kbps for 256kbps plans and 256kbps for 2mbps plans.

And what that means is that if you take the ul 900 plus plan then your current will be changed and you will have to pay for your call charges according to those clauses. And for ul 900 plan your current call charges will remain the same.

@kumar :

the home plans have 2 variants,

as the BSNL connection requires you to have working phone connection at the place, they have introduced this options.

900 UL PLUS is meant for broadband users : like you have other phone connection at home (mobile / wll / fixed) and you need separate line for broadband you dont need to pay phone rental. you will only pay the bb rental plus any call you make if any plus taxes.

while in other plan you will pay bb rental plus phone plan rental plus extra call charges if any plus taxes.

other thing i would want to tell you:

BSNL provides huawei routers i am using type one (only one lan port) if you plan to use multiple pcs and a wifi enabled pc or lappy, i will advise you not to buy wifi router from BSNL. Instead take the basic router modem of BSNL and purchase good wifi router separately.

@Rave
Not in hyd but in vizag.....any specific reason in going for Tata?

@Priyoban
Thanks for the info dude!

@Medpal
So

900UL plus = [BB rental] + [phone rental] + [tax] + [extra charges for calls made]

900ul = [BB rental] + [tax] + [existing phone plan]
is it?

Actually,

900UL plus = [BB rental] + [no phone rental] + [tax] + [extra charges for calls made]

900ul = [BB rental] + [tax] + [existing phone rental]+ [existing phone plan]

ulplus is useful to those who plan on using their phone only for b'band, but if you plan on using it for making calls as well, then it doesn't really work out, and 900ul is definitely the better option

reason being better speeds offered, TATA gives you true 1:1 connection, which will be a big plus if u plan to use torrents

They are "A"dsl connections. And unless you use a lot of private trackers for your torrents you shouldn't have a problem at all with your torrent speeds.
