My friend and I flashed Biostar 790GX A3+ with modded bios for unlocking his 720BE. As it didn't work out, he just downloaded and flashed the new bios through some qflash or something similar. And guess what, it bricked. :@

We both went to Bhumika Peripherals and talked to Manish about the Bios flash mishap and asked how much time it would take to get the mobo back.

He asked us to wait for a while and after 30 minutes or so, he gave us a new motherboard!

I couldn't believe that, as I am used to getting a mobo only after a 2-3 weeks whenver I RMA it.
Biostar/Manish are great when it comes to ASS I believe, or might be just that we got lucky :)

it wasn't even necessary to get the board to rma center :P

all you need to do is download latest stable bios or one that is working... rename that bios file to 'AMIBOOT.ROM' and place on a usb drive...

connect that usb drive to the concerned biostar board and start the system... and the board resurrects in few minutes :)

PS: Please change 'Bhumika' in title to 'Bhumika peripherals' :P

good to know that Manish is helping out forum members, did he by any chance knew you were a TE member?

Yes, I think he knows that, as I did tell him once. You too take stuff from Manish? I have been taking computer stuff from Bhumika for the past 8 years, at that time when actually Manish wasn't there. He came later. Dealt mostly with Saileshji then :)

yeah he knows me very well, so does sailesh, they are familier with TE as well and hence offer good prices to TE members, although their service is anyway good overall
