Good Book to Brush up knowledge of C/C++

Finally i arrived to the last spot of my engineering, i.e, B.E 8th SEM. And, i am planning to join some sort of jobs in order to rejuvenate my life of which i am bored.

Please mention some hardcore books for C/C++ , which will increase my skills on solving problem, algorithm building and also coding.

I am into C++ since class 11th, and those 2 years were like heaven lots and lots of coding, but Engineering has spoilt everything, we had just 10 months of coding, and my skills seems to be eroded little bit :(.

Also i want to know from my fellow candidates, whether knowledge of CMS makes any difference, Like Joomla, Wordpress, Drupal. Along with knowledge of cpanel, WHMCS.

I had been into CMS development since 12th and have some blogs, i had been into hosting business also for 2-3 years, and at present i am forced to develop my college site in Joomla CMS, which i was not in mood to (matsengg.ac.in). .

Waiting for prompt help from you all techies and smarties online here :)

I know that man, B.Tech Curriculum does not emphasize on coding and especially languages.

You can refer these books :

1) C++ : The Complete Reference, 4th Edition by Herbert Schildt (TMH)
2) C++ : OBJECT ORIENTED PROGRAMMING WITH C++ by E Balagurusamy (TMH)

I personally like the later one and it is also written by our c++ guru.
