Laptops Good Electronic/Tech Stores in Mumbai for buying Laptop?

Hi I recently moved to Mumbai and want to buy a laptop and a mobile.

I am looking at some big chain electronic stores here. Something like Fry's, Circuit city or Best buy in America or Sharaf DG in Dubai. Like a one stop shop for everything electronic/tech/computer related.

I've already checked out Vijay Sales and was quite disappointed (very empty, hardly anything there). Also checked out Croma (in Malad) which a lot of people said was the best but again it was disappointing (again quite small and not enough variety).

Any suggestions? Some small mom n pop stores I should know of?

I havent been to Croma in Malad, but there is a croma in Juhu which is really huge and caters to a wide range of laptops. for a best deal - go to croma - see which laptop fits your needs and u can try them out as they would be on display , from there head straight to lamington road - or - contact any of the in house dealers here and they would get you the same stuff for way lesser k's.

For Electronics other than Computer hardware, go to Alfa market, at Irla... Really VFM..

Rest, Lamington Road.. But be careful in shopping at Lamington road... Take some experienced person there with you..
 
croma is the best in organised retail though even i feel there stock is pretty limited.

as long as you are ok with normal shops and dont mind waiting a bit, I would really suggest that go to lammigton road. you will get everything you want, just go to well known shops like prime which should keep you safe. :)
 
checkout Prime's website for pc related stuff here Their store is at Lamington road.

Besides, have you decided which laptop to buy? If not then Open a thread in the forums for the same with the concerned requirements. :)
 
There is no way u can get every thing at one store
Big players like CROMA Plug-in NEXT .....have more price tag then local stores
Only some product from such stores have less price.
For CONSOLES related go to musafir khaana(Not manish market they have high rates then musafir Khanna).
For COMPUTERS go to Prime ABGB OR Cassette world(lamington road)they have many premium products in stock and have great Distributors(contacts).
Some of the dealers here on TE and lamington road buy from Prime ABGB and then sells it to customer if they dont have in stock or if they not tied up with those specific distributors.Sometimes PRIME quotes high but u can tell them the price quoted from others so they will match or make less than that.
ALSO some shop in lamington quotes prices of goods (without VAT) so the quotes seem less than prime(with VAT) I have experienced it.so ask for price with vat and then decide with which to go.Prime abgb is known to supply the best premium products
Also vijay chaudhari (buygamingStuff)TE have best prices than prime abgb for some product Also Lynx have best prices for some other selected product.
NOrmally try to take advantage of GO purchases from TE dealers.
Check from Lynx +BuyGamingStuff+Primeabgb+Cassette World and then only buy from the dealer with less price quoted

except for the Cassette World part, i really agree. to me Cassette World feels most obnoxious guys in lammigton road. i would buy from anyone except for these guys :p
