Good HDMI DVD player?

I have a Samsung LA40D550 40" Full HD LCD TV and I am looking for a good HDMI DVD player for it. Looking for something nice and compact and which will upscale movies decently.

Please advise. Thanks.
 
I do not know what is your budget. However to utilise the full benefit of your HD TV you could go in for a Blu-Ray Player [Sherwood BDP-5004]. This is a region free player & plays DVD's & CD's too apart from upscaling them fairly well. I purchased mine from shopyourworld.com for Rs 9484/- inclusive of customs. Today it's price is in the range of 11.5-12.5K.
