Good ISP in Mumbai

hey guys,
my internet subscription is gonna expire soon. was looking to change my isp as well 'cause ive heard the new schemes of EXATT are all limited b/w, which sucks! I would also like to warn any1 who plans to subscribe to exatt through spearhead, they appraently cheated a few people by telling them the new schemes are unlimited and later put b/w restrictions on their a/c's with an excuse that they were downloading too much and later let them know that the connection they have is now limited b/w and not unlimited!.. i too had a similar problem with spearhead, where they stopped my internet connection halfway through my scubscription period (1year) beacuse I "download too much" ... lol

Any way, do let me know about some good ISP's with "unlimited usage". I'm from Bandra (west), btw.

pixel if u can get airtel.......than nuthin to complain about...other one to get is igate.............than stands hathway unlimited plan ........btw is there some sort of budget stuff on your side....the plan i m talking abt cost 1.1k per month...256 unlimited.......but airtel and igate offer speed upto 512+kbps also during some interval
 
Have you tried MTNL Triband? Its decent enough,although nothing great. They have various plans. Check them out. There're some times when the connection is dead and even their helpline is busy. Usually, they both start working again at the same time! :D Co-incidence? May be ;) But in those times you are sure they know something is wrong.

But stay away from VSNL/Tata. They are simply pathetic and I have had a very bad experience with them.
 
hmm ya mtnl triband.. night plan isgood... though mtnl doesnt have unlimited. it should come out with one soon.. since there is already one in delhi and bsnl too has introduced it..

thsat`s the only isp i have experienced and have been thoroughly satisfied with it!
 
dude i have a friend called ankush who has been scammed by MTNL though he has the night plan and downloads in the night putting his modem off and on hes been charged a bill of around 40K for 3 months.....so be careful!
 
@aditya : dude i am on exatt at the moment.. my subscription willbe ending in a few months.. they no longer have unlimited schemes / the unlimited schemes are going to be very expensive.

Ya i was on exatt, my cablewalla never told me that the unlimited plan has changed to limited 10gb. I finisehd the limit in two days and then my net was disconnected. I didnt pay a single penny.

My cozin has mtnl night plan, the one where downloads are free at night. He is happy with it. The speeds are good.
 
@hacker : im lookin at something more on the lines of 24x7 unlmited downloads.. 256 ~ 512 ~ 1mbps.. what about Airtel?? guys from mumbai plz gimme feedback regarding airtel in mumbai..
