Good News to Those who are bounded with Sony for their DSLRS....

Sony had announced many DSLRs in all the categories, that is Entry Level, Semi Pro and Professional categories...

Sony A230 - A replacement of A200

Sony A380 - A replacement to A350

Sony A330 - A DSLR brought in market to reduce the gap between A200 and A350... [now the mid one of A230 and A380]

Semi Pro DSLRs

There are the one cheaper than A700, but expensive, and far better than A3xx series....
Both of them have different sensors...

Sony A500 - Cheaper one, 12MP, but more featured than A350..

Sony A550 - Big brother, and expensive than A500....Better sensor....

Professional DSLRs

Sony A850 - Sony Understood the power of Full Frame, thus to increase and make the Full frame market more competitive A900 younger brother had brought A850....
Had 24 MP sensor, and more amazing just a weight of 850 grams
With launching of this DSLR...Price of D700 and Canon 5D mark II will surely get reduce:clap:, because it seems hard competitor of these DSLRs......

I guess, now Sony's basket is completely full of DSLRs..and they need to concentrate in creating some good lenses....
With increasing market Sony can not be dependent on Minolta, Carl Zeiss and his expensive Sony G lenses :bleh:....
They really need to get some very good lenses at affordable price:hap2:......

Groan !!! Come on Sony I am happy with my A200 and I will never upgrade it. But I want some more lenses !!!!!! :(

I guess in India the price would be approximately..
This is what I guess the most suitable price should be - not sure of what sony decides........

A230 - about Rs 32K [replacement of A200]
A330 - about Rs 40K [It is already in sony India market]
A380 - about Rs 52K
 
If one compares the price of A330 which is already in Sony India and USA market...

The price difference if of flat Rs 7K.....

But If one plans to get it through KMD, 7K will go in shipping and duty,.,,....

Better to get it from USA only if some relative is coming to India from there.....
 
^^ A230 price is too much. At that rate I will never recommend it to anyone. A price of 25k will be reasonable enough for it.

I mean come on. The A200 which has more features is cheaper at 23500. :(

Sony A200 officially cost Rs 28K...

I have stated the estimate price for all of them [except A330]

Though we manages to get in 23-24K...
