Storage Solutions Good or Bad - 3500/- for Seagate Go 500GB 3yr warranty

Weather it is good to go for NEW Seagate Go 500GB which is being offered at abt 3500?
My concern is that it is 3yr warranty. Where are its service locations near Delhi?

Is WD passport 500GB a better choice even if it is offered at retail price (i.e. abt 1k more than what i would pay for seagate)?
