Roadside food -- Kabab Magic. Simply awesome rolls. They make it with roomali roti which I love. In other places like Empire, they make shawarma rolls with a different type of bread. I forgot the name of that. Also, try Fanoos for rolls.

Pizza Port (Koramangala, M G Road and Indiranagar).

KM is highly recommended! Good cheap place to just go pick up some rolls. Pizza port is like total VFM pizzal place. Always have a buy 1 get 1 offer. Or buy this get that or what not.

Guess you could try any of the Sweet Chariots. They are not too bad if you want to pick up a b'day cake.

Try Just Bake for cakes next time. Much better than Sweet Chariot. They don't have the mousse though.

I liked Fanoos once upon a time, but the way they handle the meat with their hands is bit offputting. I'm talking if you order from the street stall.

Sure enough i got food poisoning short time after, eating 3 of them in sequence, their smallest ones too.

Which is a pity cos their rolls taste great, come in several sizes from 30 per right up 150 i think with colourful names to match, rambo, sambo & zhambo.

Will try the other places mentioned for kebabs.

Not been too impressed compared to what i got in the gulf or the uk yet.

Another place I'd heartily recommend is Harima for authentic Japanese food. A million times better than Zen in Leela and a way way less expensive.

Been to Harima with Chaos and Bottle.. sushi was great :D and the sake(i) too :P
BTW hope someone starts a similar thread for Chennai :(

Pizza Port (Koramangala, M G Road and Indiranagar). As the name says, Pizzas mainly, but they have amazing burgers too. Super duper cheap stuff. They have offers like buy a large pizza and get 3 burgers free. Large pizza costs from 360-440 for non-veg. Burgers cost from 50-78. They have single, double, triple, lamb burgers, beef burgers. One of our favourite places for cheap but good food. They deliver within a certain radius.

Cheap only comes into play if you order more than one, great if you are 5+ ppl not so great if you are just 2 or less, in which case a large pizza is already pushing it, Domino's is better pricewise.

So all that leaves you with then is taste, which according to you is the better of the two ?

That is true. Taste wise, Domino's is better. Even though the normal Domino's pizza is sad. I only have Cheeseburst of Domino's. Otherwise, it's Pizza Hut for me.

guys any place with good food n cheap drinks???

most of the place i have seen cost a bomb for the drinks.....

What ? What ! What?

Domino's tastes better

was really hoping you would say the opposite :(

Right, time for DIY.

The pizza at Pizza Port is too dry man... And you can hardly taste the toppings.

Anyway taste is very subjective.
