My cousin is coming from the US in th efirst week of November..
I need some recomdations for good spekers for around 100$!!!:D

these will be for the PC for movies and gaming..

130$ will get you either the MX5021 or the Z5300e. Depends upon what you want... power/5.1 go for logitech. If its absolute accuracy and great music playback, go for the altec. For 150$, the Klipsch Promedia 2.1 is a great system as well. Don't buy any of the cheap noname stuff as you'll repent later.

coming from usa u are allowed 2 bags max 30kg each bag.
& u can carry 1 handbag in the plane with yourself.

i think your friend will be able to get 1 box of speaker easily if he is checking in just 1 bag.

i had the same prob when i got my z680's. i had 2 bags & the z680 but then in the end my friend checked in 1 bag for me so i did not have any problems.

the z680's weighed around 24-25kgs so i guess the z5300e should be around 15 - 20kgs.
 
I dont know what is going to happen... I have asked my cous.. lets see what she says.. If yes then i need to hope i get sufficient funds during diwali:)

ok the best price soo far is around 150$-- with S&H!

So I will ask my cous if that is ok then need to scrape togther some funds and get it:D

how much are these speakers @ amazon?

i bought my z680 from there for 200$ with free shipping. if u order anything over 25$ at amazon its free shipping.

just forget the z5300. arrange for some more cash if u can n just get the z5500 for 219$. its a killer deal if u can arrange a bit more cash. it sure is worth the 80$ more. trust me.

@stormblast--- I am realy scraping togther funds for this... my cous will hit the roof along with my parents if i spend 22$ for speakers!!!

does anybody knows how i can purchase things in singapore..
i want bass and my budget is 220$.

but i will be in singapore for max 3 hours so i wont be able to go out of airport.
can i buy it on airport??

u wud need the visa to get out , then immigration and stuff , u wudnt be left with much time after that :) . I suggest u come back home and get the mx 5021 , appo told me its as low as 8300 in pune . thatz a very good price considering newegg pricing is around 6.5k . Since u wud be carrying a lotta other stuff , the big speaker box shudnt come in the way :).
