Good way to open PDFs faster from websites.

Sometimes it happens that for slow and medium internet speed users that while browsing they want to view PDFs from a website. It may even happen that the PDFs take ages to load along with the adobe reader plugin or whatever. Troubles are experienced by me even with the new built in document viewer in Chrome.

Yesterday I was trying to open a pdf from a website and it is taking a lot of time to load.

Suddenly i remembered the Google Docs viewer which can open files from a URL.

Tried it and VOILA.!! The PDF is open in 2 seconds.

Lets do a test here. Try opening this PDF from a US site.

Direct URL : http://www.uwsa.edu/edi/equity/pdf/OnthePathtoCollege.pdf

Google Docs URL [just put direct Link of PDF file at the end of docs.google.com/viewer?url= ] : Powered by Google Docs -- Click to View

Google Docs also allows to Download original file its showing.

Please post What difference in speed of access you are experiencing in these two ways.

Is this helpful to you??
