Ok here is the case , I got the mbb home from the service center and then very exited I attached all inside the cabby. Everything was perfect until last night. I wanted access to the usb port. Lazy a$$ me dint want to get off the seat so I just go ahead and use the front USB and nothing crops up on the screen. So I try the other one , again nothing. Then i move my a$$ and try all the rear usb's ...again nothing !.........the pen drive was working for sure just a few hours back so there was no case the usb pen drive was blown. So I open the cabby and notice the shabbily connected front usb connectors. I was too sleepy to notice if it was corectly wrongly.
So here is my question :
In the past also many times this has happened , wrongly connected pin headers usually dont end up blowing the hardware , then how come in my case this happened. I tried the usb on another pc right now and the same. It just wont wake up.
Is my rma'ed board faulty consideridng I had plugged the wires properly. Can i be some voltage issue whereas more power is drained by the front usb's which blew my pen drive......
Sheesh...again 15-20 days in RMA for the pen drive ......:no: :no:
