German developers had developed a cut-down version of Chrome that doesn't send usage data back to the Google mothership.

Iron is aimed at punters who like Chrome's fast JavaScript engine but baulk at the search giant's policies for collecting usage data.

Good chap I too tried chrome for half an hour, found out ctrl+Z doesn't work, and gave up hyeah:

I used Chrome// Howeer it workd only with websites where u don't have popup in pdf etc

For eg - goto Official Website of Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai - Mumbai BMC webiste & click on RTI. In subsections, u won't get any info & will think that all link are dead. But use IE or Mozilla & u will see contents.

I use chrmoe only for email & light surfing.. For heavy work, graphics etc, use IE or mozilla
