Google chrome problems

Hi,
I'm using chrome as default browser , and sometimes the book marked pages don't work . It says "web page is not available " . Also the apps like "mail " says "app is not reachable at the moment" most of the time .
When I try the same web pages with firefox , it works . How do I solve the problem with chrome?

I like chrome only because of the auto-fill searches when "google searching" . Is there a way to make firefox show /complete searches like chrome does?

Its basically affect most sites using https or which have https enabled. I have been facing this since the last two weeks. I had found a fix on the net, and now have forgotten it And this issue has resurfaced.
