Yep, Google basically abandoned the product because they found it difficult to update with limited storage. Guess they are dumping it now in India at a ridiculous price.

Honestly, was expecting a more bespoke product that addresses the limitations, but that is not going to happen I guess.

Firesticks have captured the entire cheap streaming devices market. On top of that, amazon has the prime day and GIF sale where they offload these fire stuff at cheap prices and people lap it up.
I am actually still bummed that why amazon isn't selling their Fire tablets in India. I feel covid was right time to introduce those and they would have had run away success with them.
