The statue joins other dessert-shaped structures that represent Android’s previous platforms. In alphabetical order, they are as follows: Cupcake, Donut, Eclair, Froyo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb and Ice Cream Sandwich. It’s been rumored for quite some time that Jelly Bean would be next, but Google hadn’t confirmed the name until now.

The Google I/O conference will begin shortly , where the next Android version will be unveiled .
