They've these kind of server farms :-

they also do use quite a lot of free & open source software. They use lot of apache, quite a bit of IBM database products

as well as some stuff from Novell. Incidentally they do own quite a lot of dark fiber within their own network as well as

are bulk bandwidth buyers. :)
