Google is moving forward with it's plans for world dominance, or maybe just complete dominance in the smartphone experience for now. Launching the new Google Keep app is a very important event that mustn't be overlooked. Google Keep is their official Notes and Lists taking app. Yes, we are talking Evernote but from Google instead.

The Google Keep app works on all Android phones running OS 4.0.3 and upwards. Google Keep is also accessible via the Web. All your notes, pictures taken, lists made are stored in Google's online storage, Google Drive.

As you can see, another Google Now styled cards stack interface. In a recent post, we see that Google is adapting to the same UI for their next major Play Store overhaul. Google also allows you to customize the color of your notes!

You can access Google Keep via the Web.

With Google Keep you can:
• Keep track of your thoughts via notes, lists and photos
• Have voice notes transcribed automatically
• Use homescreen widgets to capture thoughts quickly
• Color-code your notes to help find them later
• Swipe to archive things you no longer need
• Turn a note into a checklist by adding checkboxes
• Use your notes from anywhere - they are safely stored in the cloud and available on the web at http://drive.google.com/keep

The notes and lists are synced across all your Android running devices, of course. Lock screen and Home screen widgets are also supported.
