Google Nexus 7 already packs powerful Tegra 3 quad-core chip inside which is clocked at 1.2GHz . Overclockers pushed it further to over 1.6GHz and the tablet blasted the competition in benchmarks .

The Nexus 7 was overclocked to 1.64GHz on all the four cores , which boosted the performance in quadrant benchmark over 7000 . It scored 7130 in quadrant benchmark , while the HTC One X scores less than 5000 , followed by Transformer Prime TF201 . We have seen Qualcomm S4 Pro Quad-core score in the 7000 territory on quadrant benchmark , but its not yet available .
