well, it says ......... 1 YEAR MANUFACTURER WARRANTY

The 8GB can be extended with an external USB card. USB OTG can be used once you root it.

but people are free to come to their own conclusions & decisions.


As official words from Asus its getting launched in India by October.

i think the warranty will be covered by the ASUS service center

but Ordered One. Expected delivery date is August 2nd
 
Not to dampen your spirit but Indiatimes is probably the worst place to buy any product! They do not have the product on their own but rather through other dealers. On top of it, their CC is pathetic! And do not go by anything they describe as well - that also most likely does not hold up. This will definitely not have warranty
 
I would agree with @Freaky on this. Also, there may be delays in procuring the item. That would result in another merry go round

I bet samsung will come with the similar sized tablet with amoled screen with lower price...
I would advice to wait for it...

I second that.I know a person who use to dump his junks on indiatimes and most of the time the electronics never worked and no action was taken unless some one sue indiatimes and that person was made to make rounds to their office daily.

Also being asus i will keep a serious watch if its rashi than i have a big doubt.And also why not wait for ipad mini to clash during same time.16k for 8 giga is horribly expensive.I prefer 32giga ipad 2 by paying something more.
 
Can we expect price revision on samsung tablets with 3G? They are full featured except tegra 3 and high resolution screen on 7 inch. Looking to buy them for a long time now. Was waiting for good scheme (which right now is there) but fearing fall in prices due to nexus 7.

We'll have to wait and watch. Samsung will bring out new similar tabs soon IMO.
 
you can get samsung 3g tab2 for like Rs.16000 approx on timtara. use their coupon. (at-least it there last week)
tab 2 is currently a better option bcs it has 3G, and Expandable memory. and is super fast...

How can u say that Samsung Tab2 is super fast?
IMHO Jelly Bean used Project butter to make Android UI ultra smooth.
Also you utilize power of quad-core processor & Tegra 3 for running apps.
Moreover, Resolution is too low for Samsung Tab2.
