The phone is updated to 5.0.6 and functions perfectly. Battery lasts around 1.5 - 2 days with moderate to high usage and push email constantly on. The fastest Android device out till date. Smokes the Droid.

a new one now is for 28k. mobile world irla, yesterday price. good phone but i dont know why so many people are getting rid of it. guess it dint live up to the hype eh ?

I totally agree with you jesal also in alfa its 28.5K.. As far as the phone is concern its not good... 1 of the TE member also had the same phone and he also got rid of it instead of purchasing this i will recommend ppl buying HTC HD 2 which is for 27K and its an amazing phone if compared with Google nexus. :)
 
Id request you to refrain from crapping up the thread.

Please, Take the review, discussions etc elsewhere, there are apt places on the forum for the same. As for the reason behind my sale, I need to buy a RE Bullet in the next 3 months, hence collecting the cash....and No, windows mobile 6.5 or even 7 for that matter isn't superior to Android...if that's your choice, please discuss that elsewhere. I, hopefully will buy another android phone in the future.

Lastly, this isn't a distress sale, if the price ain't right, Id prefer keeping it.

**Price def is not right ** as new grey piece is being for for 28k in the market and whenever u return this phone back to shop or so u will get a drop of atleast 1.5 - 2k **The prices should be kept in such a way that the TE members are not cheated and they get it at right price *
 
anyone who gets it cheap from alfa or beta should go & get it if the price here is not right, secondly this is an excellent gadget, much better than present ones in its category.
 
I went today @ Herra panna to get a cover for my Iphone 3gs ...and i asked the price for Google nexus one it was 27K for a brand new one and they also have a used one which was around 19-20K .... low down your price pal
 
Fantastic price, I recently picked up one from Google directly when I was in the US on April 15th, and it cost me 26500 including taxes. Most of the prices I had checked in India was 30 plus so I am surprised to see folks reporting its available for 28k.

I had to sell it because my IT folks were not letting me connect to the corporate mail server so I kept on using my iPhone. But the phone itself is fantastic, a significantly better internet experience than the iPhone, very good and fast UI and given the level of modding options at XDA it is THE flagship Android phone to have.

But only those who know what they are buying and understand its capabilities and advantages should go for Android. This takes time, and more often than not I am seeing kneejerk reactions from those who did not do the research and don't like Android because they may not be familiar. Give it a chance and it really is a good mobile OS.
 
I have Nexus one and this is seriously a good price.

All those cheapsters who are quoting stupid market prices are not aware of control and power this phone gives to you.

Guys this is not a symbian flashy phone. Do not buy if you do not want to use your brain.

What? The OP is giving some other super control and power phone? The only reason some people are giving other prices is to help not just potential purchasers buy it at a reasonable price, but also to guide the seller to the effect that an unreasonable price means no sale.

But I do think commenting about whether it's a good phone or not and whether android is better or windows 7 is not required at all. To that effect any purchaser can do his own research.
 
There is no warranty available in India since it has not launched. In Singapore and other places, HTC is providing the warranty. I think what the seller means is that you can send the phone back to USA and claim warranty. How you send it and through whom and how much you pay is something totally dependent on you.
