Google has unveiled its new Play Games service which got leaked recently. The Play Games service introduces features like Cloud save, achievements , leaderboards and real-time multiplayer support.
The most interesting part about the new service is that it will allow cross-platform gaming features ( except real-time multiplayer) between Android, iOS and web. Users will be able to sign-in using their Google+ login information and track their achievements, scores and save their progress on the cloud and access the same from different devices.
Developers releasing their games on the Play store will have access to these game services which they can include in their games. Some games have already started using these services including World of Goo, Super Stickman Golf 2, Beach Buggy Blitz, Kingdom Rush, Eternity Warriors 2, and Osmos.
