Google Talk review

Well I was just waiting for this to happen ! This is awesome ! I can finally chat with my uber Gmail ID. The service is called Google Talk it really is good. The main advantage Google is betting on is the ability of Google Talk to connect with other IM networks like MSN, AOL, etc. but it ain't working yet. All you can do is send them a invite to try Google Talk...

Review:

I am taking an early oppurtunity of reviewing Google Talk Beta. This is a Beta and hopefully many more features will be added soon, but then you can't belive anything as Google calls everything a Beta ! Jokes apart...

One feature missing is that there is no emoticons. Users can talk using microphones but only with other Google users not MSN or Yahoo.

The interface is clean, true Google style, absolutely uncluttered and simple, easy to use, a newbie's delight ! The program is set in all white and the "talk" logo at the upper left looks intoxicatingly beautiful. The audio components have supposedly been developed by Global IP Sound

Overall this product isn't yet fully ready to take on other IM clients and till support of other IM networks is provided it isn't going to hit the market big-time. Obviously the product will do well as anything Google releases nowadays is a hit with its huge fan following (including me) instatnly downloading...

Hey, anish! Good review!
But, why did u format it HTML style when u know HTML is disabled on the board!
I request the mods to change all the "<" and ">" to "[" and "]" respectively for the links to function properly! :D
 
Highs:

1. Your Gmail contacts will automatically be included in your Google Talk Friends list.

2.Chat or talk to onine buddies ,once they install Google Talk, too.

3.All you need to make calls with Google Talk is a Gmail address, an internet connection, a microphone, and a speaker.

4.Works anywhere in the world.

5.Talk for as long as you want. All calls are free, and the voice quality is supposed to be even better with a headset .

6.Show notifications for new messages in your Gmail account, as well as for incoming calls or chats.

7.no other info such news ,etc whic can also be a low.
Lows :

1.no emotions as of now.

2.slightly low on graphics, looks ...but pretty expected for beta versions.

3.internet connections seem ot be getting disconnected if any1 tries to call you up.tested this.

4.pop ups asking you to invite others to google talk .
