Other Google to axe QuickOffice in coming weeks

Quick Office was a paid full featured office suite app on both Android and iOS before Google bought it. It was then redesigned and released as a free app on both platforms. But now Google has come up with three stand alone apps Sheets, Slides and Docs to replace Quick Office so it is removing the app from both the app stores in the coming weeks. Thought new users won't be able to install the app, existing users will still have full functionality though Google advises shifting to the newer apps.

Microsoft is expected to release its Office Apps soon for Android after a huge success on iOS.
