Google To Launch New Nexus 7 2013 In India Next Month

Google Nexus 7 2012 is already selling like hot cakes in India after the recent price cuts, but if you want the new Nexus 7 2013 in India then you won’t have to wait much longer as Google plans to launch it next month.



According to TOI sources, Google is planning to launch the Nexus 7 2013 in India in November. Unlike Nexus 7 2012 which was first launched in India by manufacturer Asus, the Nexus 7 2013 will be launched by Google itself (means pricing should be good). The tablet will be sold by Google’s retail stores AndroidLand in Noida and Bangalore initially.

Nexus 7 second gen ( 2013) specs-
  • 7″ Full HD IPS Display
  • Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Quad-core Krait processor
  • 2GB RAM
  • 16/32GB storage
  • 5MP rear camera with Full HD video recording
  • 1.2MP front facing camera
  • optional 3G/4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, Wireless charging
  • 3950mAh battery

Currently Google is reported to be testing the tablet with Indian apps and other customized content. No word on pricing yet but it can be expected to be around Rs 16000-18000 for the 16GB wi-Fi version.

This is perhaps the best tablet currently, apart from iPad (for those who can afford it). If they price it around 15k for the basic model, it would be a sweet deal indeed.
 
My sis has an ipad mini and I have the new nexus 7 FHD...without looking at the price...the n7 wipes the floor with the mini...it looks and behaves like a cheap micromax knock off compared to the n7

Seems contradictory statements in one sentence to me. Please explain in detail.

Sire, If you have an opinion please defend it by explaining it. Else people will just ignore the statement.
 
I was saying in terms of:
1. Screen Resolution
2. Speed and Performance
3. Feel in hand

Some of the things I noticed apart from the fact that its cheaper

We can give attention to the statement, but still ignore the meaning conveyed in it.

The fact that he compared the iPad Mini to a Micromax knock-off speaks volumes about the truth behind the statement.

But that is what it is compared to the new nexus 7...why should I sugar coat it for the sake of being non offensive? It is what it is.
 
They better release it under 20k because 32gb nexus 7 2013 is already selling on ebay for as low as 23k with international warranty valid in india.
 
Though I'm no fan of ios, the iPad mini is an amazing industrial design product, give me a nexus 7 in the mini physical design and I'm the happiest!
 
shows 16k for 16 gb wifi and 19k for 32 gb wifi, right now in play store india .
good pricing considering 229 usd is coming for 14.5k for 16gb wifi . no 3g version ?

oops seems like its 2012 model pricing :P .. sorry .
