Google has finally unveiled its second generation Nexus 7 tablet which is manufactured by Asus. The tablet comes as no surprise since most of the specs were already known thanks to the leaks.
The new Nexus 7 is powered by latest Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS and comes with 7 inch display with 1920x1200 resolution and impressive 323ppi.
Under the hood it is packs Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro 1.5GHz Quad-core Krait processor with 2GB of RAM and 16/32GB internal storage, again there is no microSD card slot. It has 5MP rear camera and 1.2MP front facing camera. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and LTE / 3G ( optional in 64GB version ).
The new Nexus 7 is 2mm thinner and about 10 percent lighter. It also includes stereo speakers on the rear for better audio quality, wireless charging and HDMI output.
The 16GB Nexus 7 Wi-Fi will cost $229.99 and 32GB version will cost $269.99, the 4G LTE version will have 64GB internal storage and will sell for $349 carrier free.
