Google Voice Search Found More Accurate Than Siri In A Study By Analyst
Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster pitted Apple's Siri against Google Voice Search in a test to compare the accuracy .
According to Munster , Siri lost to Google Voice Search in the test conducted which involved a total of 1600 searches on each system .
Munster gave Siri B for comprehension and D for accuracy , while Google Voice Search got a A+ for comprehension and B+ for accuracy .
The test involved testing Siri by asking 800 questions on a noisy Minneapolis street and again asking 800 questions in a quiet room . The same tests were performed on Google Voice Search .
First the question understanding capability was tested in the comprehension test , which Siri did 83% while on the street and 89% when in quiet room .
When testing Siri's accuracy , it answered accurately 62% on the street , while in a quiet room the accuracy improved to 68% , the rival Google Voice Search was right 86% of the time .
