Guys finally got the loggy MX518....nice feel.....its got some sort of soft coating which is quite comfy (dunno what its called is it anti bacterial material?)

The tactile feel is very good and the precision is razor sharp...

At first I thought the darn thing was dinged on top...then saw the paint finish made it seem that way....looks neat...

paid 2700 all incl in Chennai, and with the 3 yr warranty that logi dispenses .... I feel its a decent deal.....

Gamed till 4.00 am last night.....UT 2004, KOTOR 2, farcry, Quake 4

are you talking about teflon ??
 
Seems like a kind of teflon or something....its actually easier to grip than plastic and isn't soft or anything, but has like a velvety sort of texture......

That's why i asked what it is......I feel it may be bacteria resistant as well though Logitech doesn't mention anything about this.....

Well its all I could afford......cleaned out earlier this month with some hectic shopping.....
